The
Water and Sewer Manager
is responsible for leading the delivery, operation, maintenance, and strategic planning of Council's water supply and sewerage services. The role ensures the provision of safe, reliable, and sustainable water and wastewater infrastructure while maintaining compliance with legislative, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The role oversees capital works programs, asset management, risk management, and operational teams, working closely with stakeholders, regulators, and the community to support service excellence and long-term infrastructure sustainability.
Key Responsibilities - Lead water and sewer operations, maintenance, and service delivery.
- Manage capital works projects and infrastructure renewal programs.
- Ensure compliance with health, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Develop and manage assets, and operational plans.
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams.
