The
Water & Sewer Network Manager
provides operational leadership and management to ensure the effective operation, maintenance, repair and construction of Council’s water supply and sewerage systems. The role is responsible for applying and maintaining Council’s Drinking Water Management System, monitoring the effectiveness of controls, and acting on any deficiencies to protect public health and water quality.
The position leads the distribution and construction teams, driving a strong safety culture and ensuring productivity, quality, cost-effectiveness, and excellent customer service. The Manager oversees operational, maintenance and capital works activities, ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental and regulatory requirements while continually improving the performance and reliability of Council’s water and sewer networks.
Essential Requirements - Degree qualification in civil engineering or equivalent and/or demonstrated substantial experience in a similar role at the same organisational level within the water and sewer industry.
