Public Sector People are partnering with multiple local government organisation to recruit for temporary Town Planner positions. Contracts range from 3-6 months with potential to extend.
Senior Town Planner
- $80 - $100 p/h + Super
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Town Planning/DA Planner position or similar
- Local government experience will be highly regarded
Town Planner
- $65 - $75 p/h + Super
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in a Town Planning/DA Planner position or similar
- Local government experience will be highly regarded
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate proposals to ensure compliance with local environmental plans (LEPs), development control plans (DCPs), and the NSW planning legislation.
- Provide recommendations and reports for council decision-making or delegated approvals.
- Consult with residents, developers, government agencies, and other stakeholders on planning matters.
