• Provide technical expertise across the design, implementation, and optimisation of cyber security systems.
• Collaborate with the PM and stakeholders to align technical delivery with program goals.
• Support audit, compliance, and documentation efforts aligned with ISO27001 and Essential Eight.
• Evaluate and recommend cybersecurity tooling, both standalone and integrated suites.
• Work with Microsoft 365 security solutions, CrowdStrike, Netskope, and other advanced toolsets.
• Provide technical security leadership with external and internal cybersecurity audits.
• Provide expert advice, guidance and solutions to relevant stakeholders in security management and reducing risk to Council.

• 5+ years of experience in cyber security roles
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Security Suite, Netskope, and CrowdStrike
• Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO27001 and Essential Eight
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to juggle multiple workstreams
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Experience supporting the design, implementation and management of Security Incident & Event Management (SIEM) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) toolsets to collect, detect, investigate, respond and report on cybersecurity incidents.
