is seeking a proactive
Talent Acquisition Officer
for a 3-month contract. This role provides the opportunity to support the recruitment lifecycle while delivering excellent experiences for candidates and hiring managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality administrative and functional support across permanent, contract, and agency recruitment activities
- Manage candidate and hiring manager communications, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process
- Monitor temporary employment services and agency performance to support operational efficiency
- Assist with data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, internal policies, and pre-employment standards
Requirements:
- Proven knowledge and ability to implement effective talent acquisition strategies and temporary employment service methods, ensuring alignment with organisational financial and contract management requirements
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to independently plan, coordinate, problem-solve, and prioritise work to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated experience in establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving administrative processes and systems
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and support multiple stakeholders
- Local council experience
