The Opportunity In this role, you’ll work as part of a tenancy services team to support tenants to sustain their tenancies and improve wellbeing outcomes.
You’ll deliver a customer-focused and responsive service, supporting tenants to identify their needs and connect with internal and external services. Working closely with Tenancy Managers and service partners, you’ll contribute to early intervention strategies and coordinated responses for complex tenancies.
Key Responsibilities - Work in partnership with Tenancy Managers to support tenancy sustainability through early intervention
- Support tenants to understand their rights and responsibilities under the NSW Residential Tenancies Act 2010
- Assist tenants to connect with appropriate internal and external support services
- Develop and maintain relationships with local support services and government agencies
- Provide responsive, respectful and customer-centred support
- Assist with managing customer needs, including support linked to debt management and property care
- Exercise delegated authority in line with organisational policies and procedures
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive and safety-focused workplace culture
About You
You’re an organised and compassionate professional who is comfortable working with vulnerable customers and complex situations. You bring a strong customer focus, the ability to prioritise effectively and the confidence to work both independently and collaboratively.
Essential: - Tertiary qualifications in a related field and/or relevant experience
- Working knowledge of the NSW Residential Tenancies Act 2010
- Experience in support coordination, health promotion or a similar role
- Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills
- Ability to build trust and rapport while maintaining professional boundaries
- Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence and Working with Children Check
