Help maintain Sydney’s streets and public spaces with Inner West Council!

We are currently seeking 5 Streetscape Labourers to join Inner West Council’s streetscape maintenance crews. This is a great temporary opportunity for candidates with experience in parks, landscaping, grounds maintenance, or outdoor labouring.

Position Details

Role: Street Scapes Labourer
Council: Inner West Council
Location: St Peters / Catherine Street Depots
Pay Rate: $36.13 per hour + Super
Engagement: Casual
Start Date: Monday, 13 July 2026 - Wednesday, 30 September 2026
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 2:45pm

Key Responsibilities

Verge mowing and general streetscape maintenance
Whipper snipping, edging and grass maintenance
Operating small plant and landscaping equipment
Litter removal and maintaining clean public spaces
Working safely as part of a crew

Requirements

Previous experience in streetscape, parks, landscaping or grounds maintenance
Experience operating mowing equipment and hand tools
Construction Industry White Card
Current Class C Driver Licence
Ability to undertake physical outdoor work
