Statutory Planner - Band 5 (Local Council)

Melbourne South East | Full-Time hours | 2-Month Temporary Contract | ASAP Start

A local council in Melbourne’s southeast is seeking an experienced Band 5 Statutory Planner to join their team on a short-term basis to assist with current workload demands.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Processing planning permit applications.
• Preparing planning reports and recommendations.
• Supporting the team to manage caseload pressures.
• Potential counter duty and stakeholder enquiries.

About You:

• Previous Victorian local council statutory planning experience is essential
• Ability to step in and contribute immediately.
• Strong report writing and application assessment skills.
• Confident engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

  
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced council planner available immediately for a short-term assignment.
