Statutory Planner | Temporary Contract | Local Council in Melbourne’s North
  
Public Sector People are currently partnering with a local council in Melbourne’s North seeking a Statutory Planner to join their team on a 2-month temporary contract, with potential for extension.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced planner to step into a supportive team environment and make an immediate impact.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a Band 5 / 6 level workload, including planning enquiries and assessment of small to medium-scale residential, industrial, and commercial applications.
• Provide professional planning advice and contribute to effective decision-making processes.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to achieve positive planning outcomes.

About You:

• Previous experience within a Local Council in Victoria is essential.
• Confident using Pathway and other standard IT systems.
• Able to work onsite at the office, with flexibility to work from home also.

Contract Details:

• 2-month temporary contract (potential for extension)
• Full-time hours
