You will play a key role in delivering civil construction projects from planning through to completion. Acting as the Superintendent’s Representative, you will oversee site activities, manage contractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities - Manage the delivery of road and drainage infrastructure projects
- Develop and implement project management plans (methodology, procurement, safety, environmental and traffic plans)
- Supervise site activities and coordinate day labour and contractors
- Administer contracts, assess progress claims, and manage variations
- Monitor project performance, costs, and timelines, identifying and mitigating risks
- Provide technical advice and ensure compliance with specifications and standards
- Engage with internal stakeholders and respond to community enquiries where required
About You You are a proactive and technically strong civil engineer with proven experience delivering infrastructure projects in a construction environment.
Key requirements - Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience delivering TMR jobs / Council Jobs
- Demonstrated experience in civil construction (roads and drainage highly regarded)
- Strong background in contract administration and project delivery
- Experience acting as Superintendent or Superintendent’s Representative (preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively
- Knowledge of WHS requirements in construction
- Current driver’s license and White Card
