Senior Transport Engineer

Public Sector People are currently partnering with a local government organisation to recruit for a Senior Transport Engineer.
  
Position: Senior Transport Engineer  
Contract length: 3 months with potential to extend
Pay rate: $70 - $75 p/h + Super
  
Responsibilities: 

• Assess and provide technical transport/traffic engineering input on development applications.
• Policy Development – Scope and write transport policies (e-mobility, car share etc.)
• Provide technical input and advice on transport and traffic projects.

  
Essential:

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil/Traffic Engineering, and eligible to become a Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers, Australia
• Minimum 4 years experience in a Transport Engineering position
