We are currently partnering with our client to recruit an experienced Senior Business Partner for a 3–6-month temporary contract role. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful organisational outcomes while working in a supportive and professional environment.

The Role
This position will see you partnering with executives, senior managers, and people leaders to provide both strategic and operational guidance across a broad range of complex HR and people management matters.

Duration: 3-6 month temporary contract
Location: South-east Melbourne 
Rate: $79-88 per hour plus super 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing coaching and advice to senior managers and people leaders to strengthen capability and performance across the organisation.
  • Leading the end-to-end management of complex and sensitive casework, including investigations into employee misconduct.
  • Driving workforce planning initiatives, collaborating with internal stakeholders to implement strategies that enhance organisational performance and efficiency.
  • Leading organisational change processes, ensuring compliance with industrial instruments and supporting transformation initiatives.
Key Criteria: 
  • Demonstrated experience working within Victorian government.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Workplace Relations or a related field, or extensive experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of a Business Partnering model and framework to ensure contemporary business partner approaches are used across a broad range of activities including.
  • Proven success managing sensitive and complex people management matters through to resolution.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and influence outcomes at all levels.
  • A current Working with Children Check and Police Check, or a willingness to obtain them.
