Public Sector People are partnering with a highly respected Victorian community services organisation to recruit a Senior HR Business Partner on an initial 3 month contract
. This role is all about bringing deep ER/IR expertise to a fast paced and values-driven environment. You’ll take the lead on complex workplace investigations, provide high level guidance across employee relations matters, and act as a key support to the broader HRBP team.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert ER/IR advice and partner closely with leaders across the organisation.
- Lead and manage complex investigations, grievances, and case management.
- Support HR Business Partners by offering specialised ER/IR guidance on sensitive or escalated matters.
- Coach and uplift leadership capability in handling people related issues.
- Interpret Enterprise Agreements, policies, and legislative requirements.
- Contribute to broader HR work including performance management and organisational change.
Key Requirements
- Proven background as a Senior HRBP (or similar) with strong ER/IR capability.
- Demonstrated experience running end to end workplace investigations.
- Strong understanding of employment law, enterprise agreements, and industrial relations frameworks.
- Confident in advising, influencing, and coaching leaders at all levels.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to navigate sensitive matters with discretion.
