We are seeking a Senior Communications Adviser to join a busy local council team on a temporary basis through to the end of December, with potential for extension.

We are seeking a Senior Communications Adviser to join a busy local council team on a temporary basis through to the end of December, with potential for extension.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and deliver communications plans promoting council services and initiatives
- Provide best-practice advice on communications strategies
- Write, edit and proof content across multiple channels
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers (printers, distributors, contractors)
- Bring a creative, proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Strong writing, editing and proofing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities
- A can-do attitude with proven experience delivering effective communications
