The Role The Senior Business Analyst – Core Business Systems plays a key role in the delivery of Council’s major Core Business Systems Program, focused on implementing a modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform.
This role will support the transformation by partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to understand, analyse and document business requirements that will inform the design and implementation of future systems. Working closely with the Senior Project Manager and cross-functional teams, you will help shape solutions that strengthen integrated processes, improve reporting capability and support better organisational decision-making.
You will lead business analysis activities across the program, facilitating workshops, conducting process mapping and translating operational needs into clear functional requirements for technical teams and implementation partners. The role will also contribute to procurement activities, risk management, testing and change readiness to support successful delivery and adoption of new systems.
About You You are an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background working across complex organisations and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
You bring strong analytical capability and are confident facilitating discussions, running workshops and translating business needs into clear, structured requirements that support successful system delivery.
You will also bring:
- Demonstrated experience delivering business analysis within complex, multi-functional organisations
- Strong skills in requirements elicitation, process mapping, workshops and stakeholder engagement
- A sound understanding of financial processes and controls, with experience supporting finance-related analysis highly regarded
- Experience supporting or delivering ERP or finance system implementations (highly desirable)
