About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled SAP Developer to join a dynamic financial systems team within QLD Government. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining SAP solutions that support key business processes. You’ll work on both traditional ABAP development and modern UI5/Fiori applications, helping to improve system functionality and user experience across the organisation.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining SAP solutions that support key business processes. You’ll work on both traditional ABAP development and modern UI5/Fiori applications, helping to improve system functionality and user experience across the organisation.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and enhance SAP systems using ABAP, including object-oriented programming, workflows, forms, and integrations.
- Build and maintain SAP UI5/Fiori applications and manage Fiori Launchpad configurations.
- Troubleshoot issues, apply SAP notes, and implement system improvements.
- Support ongoing upgrades and enhancements for SAP on-premise systems.
- Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior developers and team members.
- Minimum 10 years of ABAP programming experience, including experience with multiple full lifecycle SAP projects.
- Proven skills in SAP UI5/Fiori development.
- Strong understanding of SAP note application, security patching, and system troubleshooting.
- Ability to deliver solutions that align with organisational goals.
- Excellent collaboration and mentoring skills.
- Familiarity with SAP modules such as PM, PS, or IM.
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform and Business Application Studio.
- Knowledge of modern web browsers and security considerations.
