Coordinator Risk Management
to lead the delivery of Council’s enterprise risk management activities.
You will drive a proactive, integrated approach to risk management and business continuity that supports operational excellence and aligns with legislative and strategic requirements.
3 month contract - possibility of extension

$65-$75ph + superKey Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote risk awareness and capability across Council.
- Maintain compliance with legislative obligations while identifying emerging trends and risks.
- Liaise with Internal Audit to ensure cohesive audit and risk planning.
- Manage and monitor Council’s insurance program (excluding workers compensation).
- Deliver training and communication programs to embed a strong risk culture.
- Support and guide staff acting as risk owners across Council.
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in a relevant field.
- Extensive experience in enterprise risk management and business continuity planning.
- Local government experience highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A strategic mindset with an eye for identifying and mitigating organisational risks.
