Public Sector People are seeking a detail-oriented
Revenue Officer
to join a collaborative Finance team in a local government organisation.
In this role, you'll play a key part in managing Council's rates, charges and debtor processes while providing outstanding service to customers and supporting the integrity of financial data.
3-month contract based in office.
Rate is between $40-$47ph + super, dependant on experience and knowledge. - Managing rates, property and debtor records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Responding to customer enquiries and providing practical, solution-focused advice.
- Administering rates, charges, pension rebates and debtor accounts.
- Negotiating payment arrangements and supporting debt recovery activities in line with Council policies.
- Maintaining accurate financial and customer records while ensuring data integrity.
About You: - Local government experience is highly regarded.
- Experience in revenue, accounts receivable, rates, finance or a similar transactional environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience interpreting policies, legislation or procedures.
- Confidence using financial systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of debt recovery processes, with TechnologyOne experience highly regarded.
