Public Sector People are working with a Local Council based in Maroochydore who have seeking an Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator to join their Wellbeing, Health & Safety team on a short term contract.

The role:
- Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator -
- ASAP START | High Profile Local Council
- Pay $52.96 per hour + 12% super
- Maroochydore 4558 | 20 minute walk from the beach
- Initial contract until 2nd of July + extension
What you will be doing:
- Support Council’s response to critical incidents in partnership with the Wellbeing Health and Safety Team, leaders and other stakeholders.
- Provide advice on psychologically safe workplaces and build acceptance and value for mental health initiatives that drive positive performance and sustained outcomes for employees.
- Support the Principal Wellbeing Health and Safety Operational Performance and other stakeholders with key mental health and wellbeing awareness campaigns.
- Act as a point of contact for injured workers, other Council employees and leaders from the time of incident through to completion of the statutory claim along with any required ongoing injury management, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Available ASAP
- Bachelor Degree qualifications in relevant field, or equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant experience.
- Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator accreditation and experience.
- Relevant experience in a wellbeing related role with demonstrated business acumen and ability to apply legislation, policies, standards, regulations and procedures relevant to Wellbeing, Health and Safety.
