Public Sector People are partnering with a local government organisation to recruit for an Recruitment Administrator.
Contract: 6 months | Immediate Start
Hourly Pay Rate: $53.67 p/h + Super
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate employee and recruitment records in line with Council’s records management procedures.
- Process and update right‑to‑work documentation, ensuring compliance through regular reviews.
- Assist with updating HR and recruitment documentation, procedures, and intranet content.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, meetings, and recruitment activities, ensuring all required documentation is prepared.
- Manage and prioritise the recruitment inbox, responding to enquiries and directing correspondence appropriately.
- Prepare onboarding materials and new starter documents to support a smooth induction process.
- Provide timely and accurate administrative support to the HR team, including handling general HR enquiries.
- Maintain HR information resources such as internal directories, reference materials, and templates.
Essential:
- 2+ years experience in an administration support role within local government or working in a politically sensitive environment
- Previous experience with TechOne, Content Manager/TRIM, Authority or Pathway highly regarded
