Public Sector People is seeking a Property Services Specialist to support the effective management of a NSW Council's property portfolio.

6-month contract to start in February
$80-$85ph + super
Hybrid working after 3-month period.

In this role, you will:

Manage Council’s property portfolio to protect and enhance Council’s interests
Provide accurate, consistent advice on property and asset management matters
Coordinate day-to-day property management activities
Negotiate leases, licences, sales and other property-related agreements
Develop, implement and monitor property asset management strategies
Maintain the Tenancy Schedule and Land Register
Support budget development and financial performance monitoring for the property portfolio

You will bring:

Local government experience is essential for this role.
Tertiary qualifications in Property Management or a related business discipline
3–5 years’ experience in a similar property or asset management role
Experience negotiating property contracts, leases or agreements
Working knowledge of relevant legislation, particularly the Local Government Act
