The
Project Engineer/Project Manager will be responsible for providing high level project management services across a range of Capital Works construction and maintenance activities for internal and external asset owners.
Key Responsibilities: - Deliver Capital Works construction and maintenance activities on Councils State, Regional and Local road network, in collaboration with internal and external asset owners
- Lead the development, delivery, and reporting of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects to achieve timely, high-quality, and cost-effective outcomes aligned with internal client expectations.
- Coordinate the effective delivery of council contracts
- Deliver construction and maintenance activities in line with relevant quality assurance framework, including industry specification and best practice
- Undertake efficient cost management practices to deliver projects within budget constraints
- Manage councils approved contractors in line with council’s procurement obligations and contractor management systems
