The Project Engineer/Project Manager will be responsible for providing high level project management services across a range of Capital Works construction and maintenance activities for internal and external asset owners.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Capital Works construction and maintenance activities on Councils State, Regional and Local road network, in collaboration with internal and external asset owners
Lead the development, delivery, and reporting of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects to achieve timely, high-quality, and cost-effective outcomes aligned with internal client expectations.
Coordinate the effective delivery of council contracts
Deliver construction and maintenance activities in line with relevant quality assurance framework, including industry specification and best practice
Undertake efficient cost management practices to deliver projects within budget constraints
Manage councils approved contractors in line with council’s procurement obligations and contractor management systems
