About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our local government client to lead the delivery of
2 Major Streetscape projects within the community. Experience in delivering projects across Public Domain and Traffic Streetscape Projects in the Town Centre would be highly advantageous.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Responsibilities: - Plan, execute, and monitor projects from initiation to closure, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource management.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and community groups, to ensure project success.
- Manage risks and issues, and develop and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including health and safety requirements.
- Liaise with the community to gather feedback and ensure that project outcomes align with community expectations.
Requirements: - A degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within the traffic and streetscape sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Experience with project management software, such as MS Project.
