About the roleAre you an experienced Project Manager who has successfully coordinated complex government inquiries, submissions, or high-profile regulatory responses? This contract would be ideal for someone with a strong public sector background who can hit the ground running and effectively manage cross-agency engagement, reporting, and strategic delivery in a time-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project coordination, reporting, and delivery in line with the departments methodologies
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to gather data, manage deliverables, and communicate progress
- Draft, manage, and submit reports and formal responses for executive and Commission-level review
- Ensure quality documentation, risk management, and governance alignment across the project lifecycle
- Coordinate steering committees and project meetings, track progress, and flag issues proactively
Essential requirements - Demonstrated success in coordinating formal inquiries, audits, or regulatory submissions
- Strong stakeholder engagement, including at executive and inter-agency levels
- Excellent time and task management across competing priorities
- Previous experience in the Queensland Government or similar public sector settings
- Knowledge of construction industry regulation is highly desirable
