$100 – $110 per hour + Super
Public Sector People are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join a local council client on an initial 12-month contract.
About the Role: As Project Manager – Capital Works, you will be responsible for delivering a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects from planning through to completion. The portfolio includes buildings, public domain upgrades, town centre revitalisation, streetscapes, parks, roads, stormwater, and other public assets.
You will manage the full project lifecycle, including design management, procurement, contract administration, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard. The role also involves stakeholder engagement, reporting, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Council frameworks.
Key Requirements: - Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Project Management, or related field
- Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects through design and construction phases
- End-to-end project delivery experience, including construction management
- Strong procurement and contract administration experience
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple concurrent projects
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence and White Card
