About the Role:The
Project Manager
will deliver high‑level project management services across a range of environmental, landfill, and waste-related capital works and maintenance projects.
This role is responsible for managing complex infrastructure and environmental projects that support landfill operations, environmental compliance, rehabilitation works, and sustainability objectives. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, regulators, consultants, and contractors to deliver safe, compliant, and cost‑effective outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver capital works construction and maintenance projects across landfill and environmental assets, in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Lead the planning, delivery, and reporting of a diverse portfolio of environmental and landfill infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives, regulatory requirements, and community expectations.
- Coordinate and manage the effective delivery of construction and consultancy contracts.
- Ensure all project activities comply with relevant environmental legislation, licences, quality assurance frameworks, and industry best practice.
- Apply effective cost, risk, and schedule management practices to ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and timeframes.
- Manage approved contractors in line with procurement policies, safety systems, and contractor management frameworks.
