Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage all aspects of building project implementation, including pre-design, design, documentation, contract administration and post-construction phases.
- Coordinate project teams including internal staff, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide expert contract coordination and oversee both traditional and non-traditional contract systems.
- Ensure projects meet client scope, timelines, budget, quality standards & profitability targets.
- Actively engage with clients and stakeholders, providing clear communication and strong relationship management.
- Lead negotiations with consultants, local authorities, and internal stakeholders to deliver value-for-money outcomes.
- Monitor and report on time and cost performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Support senior project leaders in determining service fees and billing processes.
- Uphold and promote quality assurance processes within the team.
The Successful Candidate Will Have - Strong experience managing building or construction projects end-to-end.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- High-level contract administration knowledge and experience.
- Demonstrated skills in project budgeting, cost control and performance reporting.
- Ability to negotiate and resolve issues constructively and professionally.
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
- A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Town Planning) – highly regarded but not essential.
