The
Project Manager
will lead the successful delivery of infrastructure, civil, community, facilities, and capital works projects and will be responsible for managing projects through their full lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in accordance with legislative, governance, and stakeholder requirements.
Key Responsibilities - Manage the planning and delivery of capital works and infrastructure projects.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and procurement plans.
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance, risks, variations, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare reports, business cases, and updates for senior management and Council.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with Council policies, legislative requirements, and industry standards.
- Engage effectively with community members, elected representatives, and external agencies.
About You - Demonstrated experience delivering projects within local government, government, utilities, construction, engineering, or infrastructure environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and contractor management skills.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, procurement, and risk.
- Ability to work independently and drive outcomes in a regional environment.
- Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Asset Management, or a related discipline.
