About the role: We are seeking a motivated
Project Control and Scheduling Officer to join our Project Services team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, system administration, and effective project coordination in a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Role
As Project Control and Scheduling Officer, you will:
- Provide project management support, documentation, and reporting to ensure smooth coordination across multiple projects.
- Administer and support Council’s Project Management System, including user support, training, and process improvements.
- Assist with stakeholder communications, meeting coordination, and preparation of high-quality reports and presentations.
- Contribute to business improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and innovative solutions to strengthen team performance.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate project information.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- A Certificate IV in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field OR
relevant experience in a similar role with ongoing professional development.
- Proven skills in project administration, documentation, and reporting.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with confidence working both independently and in a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with project management systems.
- A current Class C Driver’s Licence.
