About the Role
As Finance Manager, you will lead the provision of high-quality business partnering to hospital divisions, focusing on financial and FTE performance reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Your expertise will support sustainable healthcare delivery and improved patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior business partnering support on performance reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial management issues.
  • Participate in monthly performance review meetings with senior leadership to provide insights and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Manage the budget build for Hospital Services and oversee cost centre budgets and reports.
  • Maintain oversight of funding arrangements, including activity-based funding and service contract obligations.
  • Prepare full-year forecasts and develop recommendations to enhance financial performance.
  • Lead hospital-wide analysis of financial and FTE trends and share insights with operational leadership.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and contribute to the Sustainable Care Program.
  • Mentor and coach the Financial Performance team to build capability and foster a positive culture.
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business (mandatory).
  • Professional registration (CPA, CA, CIMA, ICA) highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting in a large healthcare or complex service organisation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • High-level proficiency in financial systems (e.g., DSS Necto, BPT, S/4HANA) and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results within tight timeframes.
