Public Sector People are partnering with a local government organisation to recruit for an People Services Assistant.
Contract: 3 months | Immediate Start
Hourly Pay Rate: $45 p/h + Super
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including preparing documentation, organising pre‑employment checks, coordinating onboarding tasks, updating employment details, and assisting with offboarding processes.
- Support the coordination of cyclical people processes such as performance planning and review periods.
- Provide day‑to‑day operational support to the Chief People Officer and the wider PCS team.
- Organise and administer leadership team meetings, whole‑of‑team events, and related PCS activities.
- Assist in managing PCS programs of work and ensure tasks, actions and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
Essential:
- 2+ years experience in an administration support role.
- Previous experience with TechOne, Content Manager/TRIM, Authority or Pathway highly regarded
