Public Sector People looking for a
Human Resources Officer with a focus on recruitment, to join a council in Sydney's North Shore.
6 month contract
ASAP Start
$40-$50ph + super - Coordinating recruitment processes, drafting job ads and preparing offer documentation
- Assisting with the coordination of the on-boarding of new starters – ensuring that all documentation is completed and collated
- Contributing to HR reporting, systems administration and records management
- Supporting employee wellbeing programs and Council-wide HR projects
This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated HR professional who is passionate about recruitment and wanting to grow their experience in a local government environment.
About You - Tertiary qualifications in HR, IR or a related discipline
- 1–2 years’ experience in a HR or employee relations role
- Experience in 360 recruitment and onboarding
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative approach with the ability to work independently when needed
- A strong sense of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential matters
Desirable but not essential: - Experience in Local Government or a regulated sector
- Familiarity with electronic document management systems
