$46–$52 per hour + super
Contract: 3-month temporary contract, ASAP start

Our client, a well-regarded local government organisation, is seeking an experienced
Payroll Officer
to join their team on a 3-month temporary contract. Candidate
must have Chris21 or iChris experience.A hybrid work arrangement is available, offering flexibility however must be able to attend onsite for minimum 2 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process timesheets and payroll accurately and on time, following established procedures
- Manage payroll-related queries, paperwork, and mail, ensuring changes are actioned within relevant pay periods
- Calculate and prepare annual and long service leave payments, verifying leave balances and ensuring timely processing
- Provide accurate and professional payroll advice to employees and managers
About You:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience
in end-to-end payroll processing
- Previous experience in public sector, not-for-profit, education, or healthcare
organisations
- Proficiency in iChris or Chris21
is mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
