We are partnering with a For-Purpose organisation to appoint an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee the organisation’s payroll function and ensure employees are paid accurately, efficiently and on time.

This is an opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with stakeholder management and process improvement, while working within an organisation that makes a meaningful difference.

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing the end-to-end payroll function across the organisation
Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll
Overseeing payroll compliance, including awards, enterprise agreements, superannuation and taxation requirements
Managing payroll reconciliations, reporting and month-end processes
Working closely with People & Culture to ensure employee data and payroll processes are accurately maintained
Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve payroll processes and systems
Maintaining strong payroll controls and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation

You will bring:

Strong experience managing end-to-end payroll
Excellent knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards and employment conditions
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
The confidence to manage complex payroll queries and provide practical advice
Experience leading or mentoring a payroll team
A proactive approach to process improvement and systems optimisation
Experience in For-Purpose is highly regarded
