OO7/1 Senior Estimator

• Manage estimating programs and projects, particularly medium to high-risk and complex projects.
• Prepare accurate estimates and quotation documentation for building projects.
• Ensure estimates and procurement activities comply with relevant government policies, procedures and client requirements.
• Provide advice and support across project planning, budgeting, estimating, programming and procurement.
• Monitor and report on estimating projects, including costs, schedules, productivity and project outcomes.
• Build strong client relationships through clear communication, negotiation and professional service.
• Ensure all work is delivered in line with workplace health, safety and employment requirements.

• Strong experience in building estimating, ideally within government or a similar environment.
• Experience managing estimates for medium to high-risk or complex projects.
• Strong understanding of project costing, budgeting, procurement and tendering processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality estimates.
• A current Driver License.
• A trade background is highly desirable.
