.NET Technical Lead – 8-Week Contract (with strong extension potential)

We’re looking for an experienced .NET Lead to join a large government department for an initial 2/3 engagement. This is a hands-on leadership role, providing technical direction, solution design, and oversight on a critical application project.
What you’ll be doing:

Reviewing, prioritising, and estimating items in the issue backlog
Providing technical oversight and guidance for development activities
Keeping developers aligned and focused on project goals
Holding external vendors accountable for the quality of deliverables
Producing solution design documentation (Level 0 and Level 1)
Delivering clear and detailed ‘As Built’ documentation

Skills & Experience:

Strong background in C# .NET, PowerShell, and SQL Server queries
Ability to scope, estimate, and prioritise technical work effectively
Proven experience producing solution designs and technical documentation
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage both developers and vendors
Experience with applications exchanging data via CSV files and SFTP
React, Microservices, Azure Cloud
