Public Sector People are partnering with local government organisation to recruit for a Manager Traffic and Transport.  
  
This is a unique opportunity to lead a specialised team focused on delivering strong transport planning and traffic engineering outcomes for one NSW’s largest and diverse local government areas.
  
Contract: Initial 3 months contract with potential to extend and opportunity to go permanent.  
Hourly Pay Rate: Up to $120 p/h + super (negotiable depending on experience and suitability for role.)  
  
Responsibilities: 

• Manage effective transport planning, traffic engineering and active transport functions.
• Oversee traffic advice for development applications and planning proposals.
• Coordinate transport-related capital works programs.

  
Essential:

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 12 months experience leading technical transport and traffic teams within NSW.
