Interim Planning Manager (4–6 Week Contract)

Start Date: Early December | Location: Local Council in Victoria’s southwest | Flexible: Part-time considered

We’re seeking an experienced Statutory Planning professional to step into a short-term leadership role covering a 4–6 week period from December while the permanent recruitment process is finalised.

Key focus areas:

• Provide decision-making on escalated statutory planning and compliance matters
• Lead a complex planning application and compliance issue with strong community interest
• Communicate effectively with Councilors, executive leaders, and the community on key matters
• Support and coach a team of four planners

About you:
You’ll bring strong statutory planning knowledge and experience, sound judgement, and the ability to quickly build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.

This is a great short-term opportunity for a capable planning leader looking to make an immediate impact.
