An opportunity is available for an experienced
Information Management leader
to take ownership of enterprise-wide records and information services within a highly regulated public sector environment.
This senior role is responsible for leading a specialist team, ensuring statutory compliance, and strengthening information governance across the organisation. You’ll combine
strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, working closely with executives, ICT, and security stakeholders.
About the role
- Lead and develop a team delivering information and records management services
- Own policies, standards, procedures, and governance frameworks
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory obligations
- Oversee electronic and physical information assets, including unstructured data
- Manage and optimise EDRMS platforms (Content Manager experience highly regarded)
- Provide expert advice to senior leaders on information risk, eDiscovery, and best practice
- Partner with information security teams to protect sensitive data
- Drive training and continuous improvement across the organisation
About you
- Significant experience in information and records management, ideally within the public sector
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and service delivery
- Strong understanding of information governance, compliance, and lifecycle management
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or professional membership desirable
