Help maintain Sydney’s streets and public spaces with an West surburbs Council!

We are currently seeking 5 garden workers/labourers (multiple roles available!) to join maintenance garden crews.

This is a great temporary opportunity for candidates with experience in parks, landscaping, grounds maintenance, or outdoor labouring.

Position Details

Ongoing temp contract positions working at the council starting ASAP. 
Attractive pay rates of $36.13 per hour + super + overtime payments. No weekend work! Attractive start and finish times! 6:30am – 2:45pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Verge mowing and general streetscape maintenance
• Whipper snipping, edging and grass maintenance
• Operating small plant and landscaping equipment
• Litter removal and maintaining clean public spaces
• Working safely as part of a crew

Requirements

• Previous experience in lawnmowing, parks, landscaping or grounds maintenance desirable but not essential. 
• Experience operating mowing equipment and hand tools
• Construction Industry White Card
• Current Class C Driver Licence
• Ability to undertake physical outdoor work
