We are currently recruiting for multiple Labourer opportunities with City of Moreton Bay across several locations. These roles are ideal for candidates with experience in parks maintenance, horticulture, arboriculture, landscaping, or general outdoor labouring.

We are currently recruiting for multiple Labourer opportunities with City of Moreton Bay across several locations. These roles are ideal for candidates with experience in parks maintenance, horticulture, arboriculture, landscaping, or general outdoor labouring.

Labourer Parks – Petrie
- Experience using small plant and machinery associated with parks and garden maintenance
- MR Licence highly desirable
- All PPE required
- MR Licence required
- Horticulture experience required
- Previous parks, gardens or greens maintenance experience required
- White Card required
- MR Licence preferred
- Possibility of extension
- MR Licence highly desirable
- Basic horticulture knowledge or willingness to learn
- Duties include loading and unloading plant delivery trucks, hand weeding, general nursery tasks, housekeeping and maintaining a tidy worksite
- 2 positions available
- Arboriculture experience required
- MR Licence required
- Shared work locations between Arana Hills and Petrie
- Possible extension available
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in parks, gardens, landscaping, horticulture, arboriculture or outdoor labouring environments
- Current White Card (where required)
- MR Driver's Licence (required or highly desirable depending on role)
- Ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work effectively within a team
