City of Moreton Bay is currently seeking experienced and motivated candidates for multiple temporary field-based labouring and crew roles across parks, civil, and road maintenance teams.
 
Available Roles

Labourer Operations – Parks Infrastructure
Supporting the maintenance of parks, open spaces, and council infrastructure. Duties include general parks maintenance, assisting with repairs, and supporting infrastructure upgrades across the region. This role suits candidates with experience in outdoor labouring, landscaping, or parks maintenance who enjoy hands-on work in a physically active environment.
-MR Licence required
 
Labourer Operations – Roads and Drains
Undertaking civil labouring across road and drainage networks. Duties include maintenance, repairs, drainage works, and general civil construction support across multiple council sites. This role suits candidates with prior civil construction or maintenance experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor environment on roads and infrastructure projects.
-MR Licence required
 
Labourer – Parks
Supporting horticulture and parks maintenance including planting, mulching, garden upkeep, and aftercare of landscaped areas across the region. Suitable for candidates with basic horticulture knowledge or a willingness to learn.
-MR Licence highly desirable
 
Crew Leader – Roads
Leading a small team delivering road maintenance and civil works including patching, signage, drainage, and general infrastructure upkeep. Strong leadership and previous civil experience required.

About You

• Experience in civil construction, parks, landscaping, or road maintenance (depending on role)
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor field conditions
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
• Commitment to safety and compliance standards
• Valid Class C Driver’s Licence a minimum requirement, MR Licence required for most roles
