Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes for complex ICT projects.
- Provide strategic procurement guidance to stakeholders and steering committees.
- Develop and manage procurement documentation, market research, and sourcing strategies.
- Facilitate risk assessments and ensure compliance with probity standards.
- Prepare and negotiate high-value ICT contracts ensuring they align with departmental objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Queensland Procurement Policy and relevant legislation.
- Conduct contract management activities and reporting as required.
- Represent procurement at program boards and contribute to high-level decision-making.
- Ensure all procurement activities are ethical, equitable, and transparent.
Essential requirements: - Proven experience managing complex ICT procurement in government and/or private sector.
- Deep understanding of QITC/GITC and General Goods & Services frameworks.
- Strong contract negotiation skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
- High attention to detail, strategic thinker, and outcome-focused.
- Experience across a variety of ICT categories is highly desirable.
