Public Sector People is working with a Sydney-based local council to recruit an ICT Application Support Officer with experience supporting front-end web applications to join their team on a 6-month contract.
This is an immediate start opportunity supporting key digital platforms and customer-facing applications across council operations.
About the Role: As an ICT Application Support Officer, you will provide frontline support for the council’s front-end web applications and related systems, resolving incidents and service requests in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, developers, and business users to ensure applications are running smoothly and delivering a positive user experience.
What you'll be doing: - Provide day-to-day support for front-end web applications and related systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, defects, and service requests
- Investigate issues related to UI, functionality, and system performance
- Liaise with internal teams and vendors to escalate and resolve complex issues
- Document solutions and contribute to the internal knowledge base
- Support minor enhancements, testing, and user training where required
