Public Sector People are proudly partnering with a Logan City Council on a short term contract. They are seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer to come in provide professional and contemporary generalist HR advice, support and assistance to support the HR Business Partnering function:

What you will be doing:

Provide professional and contemporary generalist HR advice, support and assistance to support the HR Business Partnering function in the delivery of:

Performance Management
Case Management
Job Evaluation and PD development
Workforce Planning
Interpretation and advice on Council’s directives, policies, procedures and relevant industrial instruments
People related projects, as required.

Ideally we'd love you to have:

Relevant HR qualifications and experience
Experience in Local Council or State government is preferred but not mandatory
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Proactive mindset and approach, with the ability to adapt in a changing environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Customer service mindset to ensure a positive experience for candidates and stakeholders.
