Public Sector People are working with
a Local council who have created a new position in their team. We are seeking an experienced
HRIS: Senior People, Systems and Insights Partner on a temp contract or a direct appointment for the right candidate.
The role: - Senior people, Systems and Insights Partner

- Initial Contract + or direct appointment will be considered
What you will be doing: - Provide strategic leadership and expert advice on HRIS platforms (Workday, Aurion), ensuring alignment with organisational goals and governance.
- Lead complex HRIS projects, system integrations, upgrades, and process automation initiatives.
- Oversee system configuration, compliance, security, and audit readiness across HR, payroll, and safety systems.
- Develop advanced reporting, dashboards, and workforce analytics to support decision-making and planning.
- Manage stakeholders and vendors while mentoring team members to build HRIS capability and drive continuous improvement.
- 1 - Direct report
About you: - Experience in developing the road map for use integration of workday and aurion or relevant/similar experience.
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills including the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships.
- Ability to negotiate and apply conflict resolution skills to influence outcomes at all levels.
