Public Sector People looking for a motivated and people-focused Human Resource Officer to join a council in Western Sydney.
Play a key role in delivering high-quality employee services and to contribute to recruitment, employee relations, and workforce strategy in a dynamic and supportive local government environment.

About the Role 

• Initial 4-month contract - likely to extend
• $44ph + super
• December start

This is a hands-on, collaborative role where no two days are the same, and your contribution directly impacts Council’s ability to attract, retain and support its people.

What You’ll Bring:

• Solid experience in HR, recruitment and employee relations.
• Tertiary qualifications (Diploma or higher) and/or relevant experience in HR, recruitment, or employee relations
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• A sound understanding of contemporary HR practices and issues
• Knowledge of relevant legislation affecting HR in local government
• Local, State or Commonwealth Government experience highly desirable.
