In this contract position, you'll be tasked with providing customer-focused and efficient first level IT application and technical support.
The role also involves configuring and installing laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones, voice and peripheral devices and providing support for users using packaged software.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that allocated IT Service Desk tickets are resolved in a timely manner
- Configuring and installing new hardware and software
- Recommending changes and improvements to relevant stakeholders
- Maintaining existing IT equipment according to relevant standards
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
- Experience providing IT support in a Service Desk environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and common IT hardware/software
- Understanding of mobile technologies (Apple/Android), VOIP, and basic network troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Problem-solving mindset with strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Good understanding of the ITIL framework
- Current driver’s licence
