Public Sector People have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced
Health and Wellbeing Business Partner
to join a local council in Sydney.
Contract length: 12 months
Start date: Monday 16th June
As the
Health and Wellbeing Business Partner, you will lead the implementation and activation of the
Mentally Healthy Workplace Strategy
and champion health and wellbeing across the organisation. This is a hands-on, strategic role where you’ll design and deliver impactful initiatives that support the
mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing.
You’ll work cross-functionally with the People & Culture, Safety, and Workers Compensation teams to create a sustainable, supportive workplace.
What You’ll Bring: - Tertiary qualification in Psychology
or a related discipline
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in psychological health and safety, wellbeing, or injury management
- Demonstrated success delivering organisation-wide initiatives
- Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills
- Ability to analyse and report on wellbeing data and metrics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirable: - A Master’s degree in Psychology (preferably Organisational Psychology)
- Experience in a local government
or public sector environment
