Head of Property Services
to lead the delivery of maintenance, asset performance, and contractor management across a large and diverse property portfolio.
This is a senior leadership role overseeing both strategic and operational delivery - ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard, while driving continuous improvement across service delivery and customer outcomes.
The Opportunity
Reporting into an Executive leader, you will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for responsive, planned, and preventative maintenance programmes across a geographically dispersed portfolio.
You will play a key role in shaping service delivery strategy, strengthening contractor performance, and embedding quality and compliance frameworks that support long-term asset sustainability.
This role sits at the intersection of property, asset management, and customer outcomes, requiring both technical expertise and a strong service mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of responsive, planned, and preventative maintenance programmes across the portfolio
- Oversee end-to-end contract management, including procurement, performance, compliance, and supplier relationships
- Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement across property services
- Develop and implement asset lifecycle and maintenance planning strategies
- Manage budgets, performance metrics, and service outcomes
- Lead emergency and incident response relating to property services
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, including contractors and service partners
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
About You
- Senior leadership experience across property services, asset management, or facilities
- Strong experience managing contracts and outsourced service providers
- Sound understanding of property compliance and relevant tenancy/legislative frameworks
- Experience managing large-scale maintenance programmes and budgets
- Ability to balance strategic planning with operational delivery
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working across complex environments
- Values-led approach with a focus on service quality and outcomes
